Overview of Warfare
Warfare on this server is straightforward and structured.
After a battle, the winning side temporarily occupies the enemy’s territory but cannot annex or permanently claim it.
Only pre-agreed contested areas on the map may change hands during conflict.
Every attack should be strategically planned — it’s not solely about killing enemy players.
Once an attack has been won the defeated forces must remain inside their spawns while they wait for “Reinforcements to come”.
Rules for Attacking Berlin
Admin Approval & Pre-Planning
All attacks on Berlin require admin approval and must be part of an official war event.
Random skirmishes or raids on Berlin are not allowed.
Infiltration RP Requirement
Prior to any assault, the USSR must conduct at least one successful infiltration roleplay mission inside Berlin.
Examples: A disguised USSR agent scouting troop strength or sabotaging communications.
Berlin Defenses
Berlin’s defenses must be active and sufficiently staffed before an attack can occur.
The required defense level is calculated by the UA and depends on the defender’s manpower.
Objectives in Berlin
The USSR cannot conquer Berlin outright.
Attacks must focus on specific objectives, such as:
Assassinating a Black Sun officer
Destroying a supply depot
Rescuing imprisoned civilians
Planting propaganda
Respect for Civilians
No mass civilian killings are allowed.
Civilians must be protected; harming them will have IC consequences.
USSR players inside Berlin must behave as if under constant moderator surveillance.
Rules for Attacking the USSR
Small Raids
Minor operations (reconnaissance, sabotage, propaganda drops) do not require admin approval but must have clear RP objectives.
Attacks aiming solely to kill Soviet soldiers without clear purpose are not approved.
Major Assaults
Large assaults aiming to take territory or free civilians from labor camps require admin approval.
Major assaults must include build-up RP, such as deploying scouts beforehand.
The UA must approve the assault and confirm a stable USSR force is online.
Objectives for Attacks
Objectives must be realistic and focused; full liberation of sectors is not allowed.
Valid objectives include:
Destroying a USSR fuel cache
Rescuing a specific civilian
Capturing or killing a USSR officer
Temporarily occupying an outpost before retreating
Forward Bases
Establishing forward bases requires UA approval.
Forward bases cannot be permanent and are only permitted for use during major assaults.
Undercover Operations (Spies)
Members from both sides may enter enemy territory disguised.
Prior RP buildup is required, and all undercover agents must be logged with an admin.
Missions must be clearly stated beforehand (e.g., assassination of a general).
